About Us

GEM DRILL INTERNATIONAL PTY LTD opened its doors to the business world in November 2005. After working several years in the drilling industry and gathering much experience in the field I have decided to start a drilling company of my own.

The doors are opening up in South Africa and Africa and the demand for good quality drilling and service is there.  For the past couple of years I and my crew have been operating in Angola and Botswana and are familiar with the conditions in those countries. Until recently we have been drilling in Afghanistan. The first company to do exploration drilling in the past 30 years in the war stricken country. This company’s aim is to service the industry locally and abroad.

With more than fifteen years of drilling experience in South Africa and across boarders Gem Drill International will always be on the lookout for new ventures in order to broaden its horizons. No matter how small or big the job, we are sitting with the necessary expertise to service the drilling industry, from Geotechnical to Exploration drilling.
